Its been awhile since our last Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit update. Since then we’ve gotten a lift hill and trains finally. Check out some great pictures over at Theme Park Review.

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Progress!

Some progress has finally been made on the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.� A ton of the brakes and ride control features have been added and I am happy to report that the firehouse is finally complete (and don’t worry about chopping off your hands).

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit: Still no Lift

The lifthill for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is still MIA but construction continues elsewhere on the ride. More scaffolding has been taken down around the station and more controls and doo-dads are being connected to the track. The firehouse reach envelope does not appear to be fixed yet however. Touch up work has continued around Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit as the station is being painted and more support structures are going up (like stairs to the MCBR). Still no word on where that lift hill is. Check out the update @ Orlando Rocks.

A new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit construction update has been posted to Orlando Rocks. Not much new news, but the station continues to be worked on. Still no word on the crane and when they plan to do the lift hill.

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Construction

Finally we have soon news about Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. While it appears that the crane is still missing, construction has continued on the station and a lot of the scaffolding has been removed. They have also started to paint the exterior of the station and maintenance buildings. All that remains of the trackwork is the lift hill, but without a crane those pieces will be difficult to put in.
